General Terms and Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions take effect on February 1, 2006. They may be modified at any time. If one or more provisions hereof are or become invalid, they shall be replaced by the applicable legal regulations. This is without prejudice to the validity of the remaining provisions.

Contract
Müller History Facts and the buyer enter into a purchase agreement as defined in the Swiss Code of Obligations [Schweizer Obligationenrecht] Art. 184-186 to the inclusion of these General Terms and Conditions. The place of performance for payment and delivery and place of jurisdiction is Andelfingen, Switzerland.
This Contract comes into being by a form-based order placed by telephone, in writing or within the online shop. The buyer agrees that an order confirmation does not have to be issued regardless of the order type.

Data Privacy
Your customer data is in safe hands with us. All customer information collected in the course of the business transaction is stored electronically by us for the sole purpose of filling your orders. We will not share your personal data with third parties.
History Facts and its employees agree to comply with all data secrecy obligations required by statute.

Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value is CHF 10. Orders with lower values will be subject to a handling fee of CHF 5.

Payment
Müller History Facts fills orders for books, photographs and documents against advance payment. Any research that it performs for customers will become due for payment as individually agreed upon by the parties.
Credit card payments are be made through the international online collections company PayPal. This company allows payment to be made using various credit cards and/or bank accounts.

Book Shipments

Complaints
If you:
- Do not receive the books you ordered
- Receive books that you did not order
- Receive a defective book, e.g., with illegible printing or missing pages
Please notify us at Info@HistoryFacts.biz. We will find the fastest and simplest way to supply an appropriate replacement for you.
If the book you receive is damaged, you will need to address your complaint to the transportation company. We guarantee that the books are free of any defects when they are shipped out.
If you have complaints about Amazon orders, please contact Amazon directly.
We cannot accept complaints regarding photograph and document purchases. You must decide before your purchase whether you find the quality of the photographs or documents acceptable; the quality of historical pictures and documents is not always perfect. You can assess this quality in the preview.

Customer's Right to Revoke
Book Purchases:
We grant our customers a right to revoke purchases as long as the goods are unused, undamaged and still in their original packaging. Based on Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 40d to 40f, we require the following:

The revocation period is 5 (five) days and begins as soon as the customer applies for or accepts the contract and takes note of this right to revoke. The deadline to revoke is deemed to have been met if the revocation declaration is placed in the mail by the fifth day, or if Müller History Facts receives an e-mail by the fifth day.
If the customer revokes an order, the parties must reimburse any services they have already received. The books must be returned to us postage paid using the most favorable shipping method. Please do not return them postage unpaid; any costs for unpaid shipments will be deducted from the amount of the credit note. Once we receive the books, we will transfer the amount of the credit note back to your PayPal account. We cannot reimburse you for services already rendered, such as postage and expedited shipping surcharges. Pursuant to Code of Obligations Art. 402, the customer must reimburse us for these expenses, which will be deducted from the amount of the credit note.
Photograph and Document Purchases:
By their nature, these goods cannot be returned; the files are purchased on download, which makes them the buyer's property.
Research Orders:
We grant our customers a right to revoke similar to that for book purchases. If we have already rendered a service, the customer must reimburse us for the expenses of the order pursuant to Code of Obligations Art. 402.
